Does this have a network ethernet adapter included?

Yes it is integrated into the motherboard, along with 6 usb ports on the back-2 on the front, speaker and mic jack, parallel port, COM port, 2 pci slots and one pci express 1x slot, and a VGA port. There is also 4 slots for DDR2 RAM. I ordered 2 of these and one came with two 1gb sticks, and the other came with four 512mb sticks. Both work fine and are quiet.

Does the unit come with the necessary power cables, etc? In other words, is it ready to run out of the box?

Yes, the unit we received was complete, including power cord, keyboard, and mouse.

Question 4

Has anyone upgraded this machine to Windows 7 Pro? I have an old one running XP, am considering buying another to upgrade to Win-7 Pro, just for XP compatibility (am 66, do not care about "modern" OR "speed") - went to Windows website & test came back positive.

But I'd like a "real-world" case to be sure. I don't like Win-7 Home that well.

I have this model with Win 7 Pro running on it and it runs great.  No problems at all.  (Am 67 and, despite having had a 20+ year 2nd career in technology, I also am looking for "ease of use" as well as speed and power.  I was a big fan of Win XP -- one of the best Operating Systems they ever sold!  Win 7 is OK and I also have computers with Win 8, but I like Win 7 better.)  Good luck!

Two questions: Does this have a standard VGA output?

Can I add another Sata HD?

Yes, it has a standard VGA port (Blue DB15 high density)

There isn't any physical space for another HDD.  You could entertain the idea of removing the FDD or optical drive and then that would give you some room.  I'm not sure if there was a 3rd SATA connector on the motherboard.

2007 is the date on the power supply and the cd drive. No other dates are given on the stickers and that seems about right for the machine.

What kind of graphics card would be compatible with the PSU and low-profile? Looking to play Minecraft specifically.

Do not get this computer if you are looking to add a graphics card.  This computer does not take pci-e cards, it has a slot that appears to be pci-e but is in actuality an ADD2 SDVO slot which will not take a standard pci-e graphics card.  Your only means of upgrading the graphics will be with a regular pci graphics card of which you will find a higher price and far more limited selection.
