Will this run Linux? I need both nic's to work with Linux.

I am running this computer with Ubuntu 16.04 as a dual-homed firewall/router/VPN box. I first tried setting it up with CentOS 7 but was unsuccessful getting it running, however no problems with Ubuntu.

Ethernet not working under Linux Debian...any idea what I could try ? Obviously the drivers supplied by Zotac are useless since they are Windows only. Maybe I have a defective box ?

Ethernet under Linux should generally work without any problems. lspci shows (first entry only; there are two).. Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 0c) Have run knoppix, proxmox v5.1, and (iirc) debian 9, all without (ethernet problems). Maybe try knoppix (or other live distro) from USB boot and check things that way.

dual monitor 1920x1080 support?

Not sure how much help this will be, but I had 2 monitors hooked up, 1 VGA and 1 HDMI, honestly couldn't tell you the resolution, I was trying to solve some problems with getting X to start. Finished up not worrying about it and running it headless. So yes dual monitor support, no idea on the 1920x1080.

What is the motherboard form factor?

It is a non standard motherboard. The only upgradability you have is ram and SATA Harddrive/SSD. I don't know about the CPU.

does the wifi card support broadcasting an access point?

Depends on what OS you are running on it. I have seen it listed as an option in the OS but I have not tested it.
