What PIN does the motherboard take for RAM sticks? I can't seem to find that, and want to purchase another 8GB.

DDR4 has 288 pins
DDR3 has 240 pins

The unit takes DDR4 RAM so it's going to be 288 pins

SO-DIMMS are for laptops so don't get SO-DDR4 RAM (that's 260 pin anyway).

im sorry for the stupid question, im kinda new to this.
So my question is am i able to get more storage room out of this without having to go to an external hard drive? since it only has 470ishGB of space when you take it out of the box. i dont see a spot for it in the tower.... sorry again for the stupid question.

You can add as many Internal Drives as you have open SATA Ports. If you run out of power connectors you can purchase SATA power spliters to power more drives. I would not mess around with OLD SLOW Mechanical Hard Disk Drives, Only use SSD Storage drives. As old technology wains manufactures cut corners to make up the difference.

The ad states "UPTO 512 GB SSD".  Am I correct in reading that you can't put a SSD drive bigger than 512 GB in this system?

I just bought this and is there enough room in the case to add another 8GB RAM card as well as a normal HDD? I was also interested in possibly upgrading the GPU down the line too and I assume that wouldn't be a problem? I've built PC's before but I just didn't feel like doing it this time around and figured I'd buy this and upgrade it as needed.

It comes with 1 stick of 8gb ram running at 2666 MHz. The bios on the mainboard does not allow for any tweaking of cpu or ram speed... so if you buy a second stick (it has two slots) but a cheap 8gb stick at the same speed. The stock one has no heat spreader (heatsink).

There is no place in the case to put a 3.5” HDD. There is a single mount for a 2.5” drive (typical SATA SSDs go there).

As far as GPU.  It will run any 8th or 9th gen intel cpu (I believe) they may two versions on this model ... the other has an i7-9700... so you know this PC can already go there.

Hope this info helps. I’d call this a mid-tier gaming starter after the ram is bumped to a total of 16gb.

Bought this last week, how hot should my CPU be running? looking in armoury crate my cpu temp runs between 60-70c when idle and when loaded runs right to 100C. I ended up installing the intel extreme tuning utility and adjusting so I'm not running the turbo boost. Are these temps normal for other users? Do i need to reinstall my heatsink? Or replace me heat sink fan? The fan shroud was tweaked when it arrived causing the fan to not spin.
