Question 1

Upon researching the motherboard used in this build, I've been finding contradicting sources that claim the Z790 UD AC is NOT compatible with Intel 14-series CPUs.  While other sources say that it is compatible.  Can you confirm that it is actually compatible despite what I've heard?

I purchased a similar ABS gaming PC from Newegg several months ago and it came with a Gigabyte Z790 UD AC mother board and an Intel i9 14900KF processor.  My games kept crashing, but I'm not sure it was a motherboard/Intel chip compatibility issue as much as it was an Intel chip design issue.  At this time, I wasn't manually overclocking when gaming, but I noticed that my processor clock speeds were continuously jumping up and down from low MHz values all the way up to 5800 MHz.  Come to find out that Intel chips come enabled with a type of dynamic over-clocking called Intel Turbo Boost.  Once I disabled the Intel Turbo Boost in the Gigabyte Bios, my clock speed settled to a rock-solid base speed of 3200 MHz, and my games stopped crashing.  Anyways, I love my ABS computer rig, but I had to disable the Intel Turbo Boost in the Gigabyte BIOS in order for my rig to work properly.

I purchased this PC and love it so far. Everything runs smooth and quiet. My only issue is that I can't seem to control the fan RGB's. I can only control the RGB Fusion on my ram sticks.

I tried troubleshooting with the Gigabyte software and Windows settings per sources online that have worked for others. I'm thinking perhaps my RGB's aren't physically connected to the right port, but I'm not sure where they should go.

Does anyone have a picture of what it should look like? Or have similar issues?

Hey Mike,

I had the same issue at first.  There is a button inside the case attached to a wire that controls the fan color scheme.  Not on the glass side, but if you take the thumbscrews out and remove the side panel you should be able to find the little push-button hanging from a small cable.  It seems that if you press it once it will change modes/colors, but then also if you press and hold it changes as well?  I'm not sure if it's just a list of presets, but after messing with it for awhile I found a mode/preset that synced it with my RGB Ram which I controlled via RGB Fusion.  I can now control both the RAM, the case fans, and the radiator fans with RGB fusion.  
As a separate issue, my fans will sometimes randomly flash white and then back to their normal color I've set, but I haven't figured that out yet.
