The Ionic Air Purifier circulates air within a room WITHOUT a fan so it is abolutely quiet. When air passes through the purifier, it is electrostatically charged (also known as negative ionization) and this causes tiny air pollutants to be captured by metal collector blades. Clean and refreshed air is then circulated back into the room. Periodic cleaning of the collector blades is all that is needed - No filters to replace or complicated maintenance operations. Suitable for bedrooms, offices, den, children's room or other rooms up to approx 500 sq. ft.
