Is this heater UL, ETL, or some other NRTL tested for safety?

It was made in China but it does show the ETL safety decal.  The tip over feature was what I was looking for so I consider it a safe buy.

Question 2

Does the owners manual specifically state that this heater is or is not designed for use in a bathroom?

you wont find any heaters, space heaters recommended for bathrooms. Bathrooms have elevated humidity especially ones used for bathing. Causes small passages in ceramic heaters to quickly become blocked with lint or whatever blowing through it. Blocked passages lead to elevated heat in heating device, not safe. all that being said you need to examine them regularly for this condition, even if not using in bathroom.

Question 3

Where is the "swing" button that the user manual refers to in the last sentence of page 1 ?

I purchased two heaters that look like this, they do not have a tip over switch, and that is a concern. I am not real happy with the "finicky" thermostat control . I am happy with the amount of  heat they produce and they were affordable. Regarding a swing button, like the tip over switch, it does not exist. Hope this helps.  Jim

Question 4

The video calls the adjustment knob on the left (facing the front) a thermostat, but demonstrates that it adjusts the fan speed. So which is it, or does it do both functions at once (temp & fan speed)? If it's both (which I've not seen on a heater before), that would mean if you want it warmer, you also have to turn up the fan speed.

The right knob offers fan only, heat 1(750watt) and heat 2 (1500w) postions. The left dial is the temp threshold only. The fan speed is the same on heat1 and 2.

Is this an UL approved heater?

There is no UL label on it but that doesn't bother me. I like the way it is made and I consider the design and the components to be very safe and reliable.
