I was wondering has this heater caused anyone's house to burn down? My boyfriend says it's the number one reason of why people die. I told him I was going to look it up, but I see there aren't any reviews on it, especially about that. Thanks, Denise

I bought this heater to replace a similar model about 6 months ago. As long as you follow the safety guidelines, it will not burn your house down. Just keep anything flammable at least 3 feet away from all sides. It has a switch on the bottom that turns the unit off it gets knocked over as well.
