Adesso 5MP Fixed-Focus A4 Document Camera Scanner with OCR Text Recognition

The Adesso CyberTrack 520 is a 5MP fixed-focus A4 document camera with OCR, digital zoom, and photo and video capture, suited to teachers and presenters who want to display or digitize documents, books, and other objects.

Recommended For

• Teachers who want to show worksheets, textbook pages, student work, or small 3D objects live on a classroom monitor or projector.
• Tutors and instructors who demonstrate written work or hands-on steps on camera and want to record visual tutorials for later use.
• Office staff who occasionally capture A4-size documents, business cards, or photos at a desk and want to save scans or convert printed text with the supplied software.
• People who need to capture bound books or objects without feeding them through a sheet-fed scanner, and whose materials fit within the camera’s A4 capture area.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• A teacher places a worksheet, book page, or small object under the camera to explain it to a class; students can see the material on a monitor or projector while the teacher points out details.
• A presenter shares a paper document, printed image, or business card during an in-person or online meeting; the overhead view lets attendees follow along without the presenter holding it up to a webcam.
• Someone digitizes a few loose pages or book and magazine pages for reference; the camera captures them as image or PDF files, and OCR can convert recognized text into editable or searchable formats.
• A trainer or educator records a hands-on explanation, such as annotating a worksheet or demonstrating an item on a desk; the recording can be shared as a tutorial for people who cannot attend live.
• An office worker captures business cards, ID cards, or individual paper documents for digital filing; the software can save scans as image or PDF files and run OCR for text-based files.
