Card Shark - PC [Steam Online Game Code]

Card Shark is a downloadable Steam adventure and simulation game for PC, suited to players who enjoy story-driven games about card tricks, deception, and intrigue in 18th-century France.

Recommended For

• Players looking for a story-led indie adventure can follow a con artist through 18th-century France, with card-cheating challenges woven into the narrative.
• Players who enjoy learning and executing precise sequences can practice a range of sleight-of-hand tricks through memory, rhythm, and timing challenges.
• Players curious about card cheating or sleight of hand—but not seeking a conventional poker or deck-building game—will find the tricks, rather than card play, at the center of the experience.
• Players who like tense, hands-on minigames can use a controller to perform gestures that mirror the card tricks being taught.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• When you want a story-led adventure instead of a conventional poker game, follow a rising card cheat through 18th-century France; card tricks drive the scenes while a larger conspiracy unfolds.
• When you enjoy learning and executing game-specific techniques, work through tricks such as false shuffles and card marking; the sequences rely on timing, memory, and focused inputs, and become more demanding as you progress.
• When you like card-themed games but do not know poker or other card-game rules, try Card Shark anyway; its focus is on carrying out cheating techniques, and a review notes that prior card-game knowledge is not required.
• When playing on PC and you want inputs that feel connected to the on-screen card handling, use a controller; PC Gamer recommends it because several tricks map to thumbstick movements and timed actions.
• When you want a game with a historical setting and a distinctive visual style, explore its imagined 18th-century French towns, mansions, and card rooms; the setting and presentation accompany the story rather than serving as a history lesson.
