CoolGear 2-port eSATA PCMCIA CardBus-32 Laptop Adapter

The 2-port eSATA PCMCIA CardBus-32 adapter accommodates storage peripherals with the new Serial ATA interface. Any system with a CardBus interface can simply add the Serial ATA devices by adding the CGS-2ER CardBus PC Card and loading the drivers into the system. Serial ATA is a high-speed serial link replacement for the parallel ATA attachment of mass storage devices. The serial link employed is a high-speed differential layer that utilizes Gigabit technology and 8b/10b encoding.

The PCMCIA laptop adapter supports 2 serial ATA ports with eSATA features, it supports 2 serial ATA devices (one for each). The built-in Silicon Image chip provides 256-byte FIFOs, watchdog, 32-bit CardBus transfer features and complete software. It is the right choice for a CardBus to Serial ATA versatile devices.
