Over 30 years ago, Time Timer inventor Jan Rogers’ youngest child struggled to make transitions from one daily routine to another.
Motivated to solve this universal problem, Jan created the Time Timer—an innovative, simple time management tool designed to “show” the passage of time through the use of a patented red disk. As time elapses, the red disk disappears—making common routines at work, school or home stress-free and enjoyable.
How Does Time Timer Work?
By turning the center knob counterclockwise, the colored disk can be set to the desired amount of time.
As time elapses, the colored disk disappears and shows exactly how much time is left.

Did you know? The rice husk, or hull, is the protective coating on a seed of rice that protects the grain during the growing season. The hull is removed during the harvesting process and considered a by-product, often used for non-nutritional feed filler, or worse, burned. Using local sources, we've incorporated this natural waste into the plastic of our product. Created with at least 20% natural plant material, the product is able to maintain it's strength and durability while utilizing less plastic.
- Less Plastic: We combined rice husk byproduct with our plastic and eliminated unnecessary parts

Display and Alert Options
The Time Timer RETRO - Eco Edition can be displayed on a tabletop by folding out timer feet or can be hung on a wall with a nail. Optional audible alert at the end of timer, available or can be switched off.
