The Targus chill mat is sturdy and built to chill my Dell laptop. This keep's my Dell laptop in working condition as it becomes hot and shut down abruptly. Also, mat doubles as elevation pad for my laptop. I don't use the USB hub as it won't handle the external hard drive.
