Does this enclosure have a power supply?

Yes is does, a separate unit attached to the power cord, thte European style plug is undesirable but you can find a plug to fit at a second hand store that's what I did. You'll see what I mean

I currently have a ASUS Blu-Ray Writer BW-16D1HT. Will this enclosure support my optical drive?

Yes. I looked for specifications on the internal size of the enclosure, but when I didn't find it anywhere I opened up one of my enclosures and measured the size of the optical drive in it at this time. The drive is 6 13/16 = 6.8" inches long. Your drive's length is 6.70" long. The cable for power and sata will easily reach your drive.

Will this support a UHD Blu-Ray drive? (Pioneer BDR-211UBK is the drive in question)

Yes it will, that is what I have in mine and it works Great.
