does this item have a built in speaker or do i hav to use ear plugs? item 1BT000Y00055

It looks like it has a speaker .. that is why I ordered it. Some reviews say the batteries don't last long .. that is not important, I'm going to only use it for a short time every day for a chanting CD. However.. I am having a hard time getting it. My order confirmation shows this is what I ordered. The wrong CD player was sent. I've corresponded w/ Newegg several times .. . I am still not getting an answer o when I will get what I ordered.
