This
third-person action game continues the history-spanning story of the
Assassins, enacting a secret war through time. The action takes place
in Paris in 1789. The French Revolution is turning the jewel of Europe
into a chaotic bloodbath as the peasants rise up and slay the
aristocracy. You play as Arno, whose pursuit of the truth behind the
Revolution leads to danger and death. The open-world gameplay, parkour,
abundant side missions, and complicated plot the series is known for
are represented here, but this time you'll be able to play missions in
online co-op! Combat has been rebuilt from previous games to reflect
the sword fighting of the time, and Unity features a new, killer
weapon: the Phantom Blade works like a crossbow and fires a deadly
projectile across great distances.
