The Ubiquiti Networks EP-54V-150W-DC-US is a high-quality backup PSU module, meticulously designed for use with the Ubiquiti Networks EdgePower (sold separately)*. It’s easy to install. The hot swappable design eliminates the need to power down the EdgePower when you’re replacing modules.
*About the Ubiquiti Networks EdgePower
The EdgePower (sold separately) is a high-power, modular PSU system, which is designed to connect to EdgePoint routers/switches and provide reliable power to attached PoE devices. It features two PSU bays – one for primary PSU module (54V, 150W AC-DC module which is commonly included) and the other one for a backup PSU module (AC-DC or DC-DC module).
The EdgePower provides up to 150W of power output. With a backup PSU module in the secondary bay, the EdgePower may be configured to deliver up to 300W of power. If failure of the primary PSU is detected, the backup PSU automatically activates to supply continuous power.
