I've not had to change the toner cartridge yet but the manual lists these items: Standard Toner Cartridge - TN-420 (~ 1,200 pages) High Capacity Toner Cartridge - TN-450 (~ 2,600 pages) Drum Unit - DR-420 (~ 12,000 pages) Hopes this helps.

Can you make copies and scan on this model?

You can make copies but it is not really a copy machine nor is it set up to be a scanner. This is primarily a fax machine. If you want to scan you should consider either a MFP (Multi Function Printer) or a dedicated scanner. I recommend a dedicated scanner.

Yes it does it includes a low yeild cartridge that lasts quite a while
