The Grove loudness sensor is designed to detect the loudness of ambient sounds. It is based on the amplifier LM2904 and the built-in microphone, amplifying and filtering the high-frequency signal received from the microphone, and outputting a positive envelope. This will be helpful for the signal acquisition of Arduino. The output value depends on the level of the sound input. To avoid unnecessary signal interference, the input signal will undergo two filters inside the module. Finally, there is also a potentiometer for manual adjustment of the output gain.
