BioShock Infinite: Columbia’s Finest is downloadable Mac DLC for players who own BioShock Infinite and want a bonus-filled start, adding 500 Silver Eagles, 5 Lock Picks, six Gear items, and upgrades for two weapons.
Recommended For
- BioShock Infinite owners replaying the campaign—especially on a tougher setting—who want extra starting currency, lockpicks, combat gear, and weapon upgrades to ease resource pressure.
- Players who want to experiment with different combat setups: the pack adds six gear items with damage, movement, or loot bonuses, plus upgrades for the shotgun and sniper rifle.
- Players who value an early-game head start over a strictly earned progression, since the bonus currency, lockpicks, and gear provide useful resources before they are found or earned during play.
- Mac players who already own BioShock Infinite and have a system that meets this listing's older Mac OS and graphics requirements, and want the add-on's in-game items.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- Starting a new BioShock Infinite playthrough: the 500 Silver Eagles and two weapon upgrades give Booker extra resources and upgraded shotgun and sniper options early, so players can invest in their preferred approach sooner.
- Opening locked areas while exploring Columbia: the five included Lock Picks give players more chances to access locked rooms or containers and collect what’s inside.
- Adjusting to different combat encounters: players can equip the pack’s six Gear items for damage, movement-speed, or loot bonuses, then change their setup to suit how they want to approach a fight or exploration.
- Choosing a close-range or long-range weapon preference: the included Comstock shotgun and sniper rifle upgrades let players begin the campaign with upgraded versions of two distinct weapon options.
- Playing while trying to conserve time on early upgrades: the extra Silver Eagles can be spent at vending machines on weapons, Vigors, or supplies, helping players make some early purchases without relying only on scavenged currency.
