Engineered for the dedicated gardener, featuring an extra-large heavy-duty tray bed measuring 24 X 15. This 93774 tray is constructed from heavy-gauge PP material, enabling you to transport heavy pots of maturing plants without the tray warping or losing its shape. It includes a clear, shatter-resistant lid with two oversized vents that can be opened or closed as required to manage humidity and enhance seed germination and young seedling growth. The transparent lid will not degrade under the heat of grow lamps nor diminish the lamps' effectiveness for seed germination. It contains a side-vented height extension that raises the lid as plants start to grow, offering extra capacity for adjusting airflow and humidity beneath the dome. The height extension supplies 8.75 of depth between the tray base and the dome for developing seedlings. The tray holds up to 60 units of 2 X 2 germination trays, and as plants mature, it can securely accommodate up to 6 units of 8 pots in a waterproof tray, ideal for collecting excess moisture after watering. Additional height extensions are obtainable to increase the depth, granting plants more space to grow under the dome. The height extensions can be taken apart for compact storage when not in use, and like all parts, are built for seasons of service.
