- Step 2: Bring the liquid to a boil and let it sit for 2 hours before wiping it with clean water.
- Step 3: Rinse the coffee kettle with clean water and dry with a soft sponge or rag.
- Step 4: Repeat the steps as needed, using soda instead of lemonade to purify if necessary.
If water quality is poor in your area, it's normal for your kettle to have spots or rust on the bottom of its stainless steel after its first use. If such problems occur, it is recommended that you can use edible soda and vinegar to soak before rinsing.
