Point the steam cleaner in a direction where nothing can be harmed by the hot steam. Press the steam trigger to release built-up pressure in the tank.
When steam is no longer present, the plunger on the cap will go down to indicate that the water tank is depressurized.
Turn cap to remove. If cap is still hot, use a cloth to remove. Empty tank before refilling. Use the measuring cup to refill. Do not refill under sink
