The White-Rodgers 179-1 heating or cooling thermostat is suitable for fans or water solenoids on heating / cooling convectors or similar applications that that require a heavy duty room thermostat with single pole, double throw (SPDT) switch action. This thermostat can be mounted on a vertical 2” x 4” box or flush to wall.
