How do I choose the right saw chain?
Confirm the guide bar's required pitch, gauge, and number of links.
Why is the saw chain I bought based on the model too long (or too short)?
Most machines can fit different lengths of guide bars. For example, the Stihl MS170 can use 12" (30cm), 14" (35cm), or 16" (40cm) guide bars. Before purchasing, confirm the guide bar's pitch, gauge, and number of links.
Why is the saw chain too tight or too loose when I purchase based on the guide bar length?
The same length guide bar can have different chain link counts depending on the brand. For example, Stihl's 14" (35cm) bar needs 50 links, while Bosch needs 52. Confirm the required number of links for the guide bar.
Why is the saw chain I purchased much shorter than the length measured for the guide bar?
The guide bar length refers to the maximum effective cutting length, not the net length. Correct method:
1.Measure the guide bar length directly on the saw.
2.Round the measurement value to the nearest multiple of 2" (5cm).
What is the installation direction of the saw chain?
The direction from the cutter blade to the depth gauge should align with the running direction of the chain.

SAVIOR CHAINSAW CHAIN FEATURES
Outstanding Cutting Performance
Sharp & Wear-resistant
We analyzed data from tens of thousands of experiments, setting the chrome layer thickness of the cutting heads to 13-25µm and a Vickers hardness value of HV850~1000, ensuring exceptional sharpness and wear resistance of the cutting heads.
Lower Bainite Isothermal Quenching
Sturdy & Durable
All parts are stamped from 68CrNiMo steel and then quenched using a renowned Italian manufacturer's quenching system, ensuring that every chain is exceptionally strong.
Pre-stretched
Unbreakable & Reduces Break-in Time
All chains undergo a pre-stretching process, ensuring that each tested chain is 100% qualified. This significantly reduces the incidence of connector breakage and effectively decreases the number of tension adjustments during the break-in period.
Comprehensive Quality Control
Rigorous Design & Quality Testing
All production batches undergo standard testing procedures including tensile tests, impact tests, and Rockwell hardness, ensuring that all components reach a Rockwell hardness of HRC40~50.
