- Q : What types of doors are suitable ?
- A : This smart lock is ideal for indoor doors, such as bedroom or office doors. It is not suitable for glass sliding doors. For outdoor use, please ensure the door dimensions are compatible.
- Q : How can I improve the fingerprint recognition accuracy ?
- A : To enhance fingerprint recognition accuracy, register the same fingerprint multiple times from various angles. Repeat the process 2-3 times to further improve the lock's ability to identify your fingerprint, ensuring smoother access.Note: Please wake up the lock first before attempting to unlock it with your fingerprint.
- Q : Can I use the remote unlock feature to unlock it ?
- A : Used in conjunction with the gateway, you can remotely control the door lock through the mobile APP. (Note: The gateway is not included in this version , you need to purchase it separately.)
- Q : How do I pair the fingerprint door lock with the app ?
- A : Search and download and install "TuyaSmart" in the app market . Tum on the Bluetooth function cyour phone , open the Tuye app.and register a user After opening the APP , the devices to be added will be displayed . Click Add to add the device .
- Q : Do I need to use batteries? How long will the battery last ?
- A : The lock is powered by 4 AAA alkaline batteries (not included), which last for approximately 3-6 months or about 8,000 lock/unlock cycles.
- Q : What can I do if the battery of my Smart Lock dies ?
- A : If the battery is dead, you can temporarily power it via the USB Type-C port on the bottom of the exterior lock.This is for emergency power only , do not use it for charging or connecting to a wall outlet , as this may harm the lock's internal parts . Alternatively , you can use a spare key to open the door.
