It always happens at the worst moment, right?
For our founder, Jack, a facilities manager, it struck on a rainy Tuesday. Juggling a coffee, his lunch, and an urgent work order, he swiped his badge to get into the main building. Then—snap! His cheap company badge reel, the third in six months, broke. ID and keys scattered on the wet pavement under a truck. That was it. Standing in the rain, Jack realized the problem wasn't him being too rough. It wasn't built for the factory floor, construction site, hospital ward, or busy warehouse—it was just cheap. That night, instead of buying another flimsy reel, Jack dissected the broken ones in his garage. Flaws glared: Weak Shell, snapped steel cord, annoying Sag.
So, we built our own. Philosophy was simple: find every weak point and over-engineer it.
Shell: Unbreakable embedded structure—bolted halves, a fortress.
Cord: 30.5" Dyneema, 10x stronger than steel, inspired by sailors and climbers.
Sag Fix: Strong spring with N52 magnetic closure for a secure CLICK, no dangling.
