Sharpened to an acute 30° angle, Panasonic inner blades have exceptionally low cutting resistance, which means they power through even thick hair with ease for a clean cut at the base.
Replacing Blades and Foils Maintains Your Shaver Performance

Over time, shaver foils can wear too thin and become dulled and pitted, and inner blades can become dull, resulting in pulling and tugging and a less than optimal shave experience. Replacing blades (every two years) and foils (every year) ensures you can keep your Panasonic shaver working like new.
Replacing your inner blades and outer foils is easy. Simply remove shaver head cover and remove outer foil, then carefully remove inner blades and replace with new ones. Place on new outer foils and replace shaver head cover.
