Mine did not, but I had planned on using the SSD mount in my computer. Works great!

I have a MacBook with a failed Model HTS541080G9SA00 Drive.  will this drive replace the failed drive?

Yes, since that's a standard SATA drive, you should have no issues. You'll need to format it with the Disk Utility and depending on which model MacBook you have, it will probably only operate at SATA II speeds, but you should be good to go.
