will this card work like a USB stick, for general storage of pdfs, mp3s and other files? Just thought I'd get one to stick in the side of my MacBook Pro to have extra files on it... JF

Hi,

I have used this card mainly in my digital camera and it works great.  You can just stick it in a card reader and it should work like a USB stick.  When I want to pull pictures off the card I just stick it in my wife's laptop card reader and it get recognized right away.  No extra software needed or anything.

Question 2

Will this card work with a Canon T2i and T31 cameras?  The photo appears to show a thicker body.

I only use SD cards like this in my tablet, but this particular version seems no thicker than others I have used.  It fits in the SD Card slot of both my tablet and my memory card reader connected to my pc.  A better question might be, does your camera support the SDXC format for flash cards?

I've had problems with rebates before. Did anyone have a problem with Patriot on this rebate?

Been doing rebates for years with 100% success -- up until recently that is, when I submitted two separate rebates for two different PATRIOT products purchased from two different vendors.

First one (a USB drive): sent by registered mail; denied on technicality; telephoned rebate center twice, received two conflicting answers; re-submitted "corrected" rebate; resubmission thus far completely unacknowledged.

Second one (This one): Sent by regular mail; thus far completely unacknowledged.

Patriot has seen its last dollar from me.

why cant i watch my movies on my TV with this SD? i got a samsung smart TV and it usually work san disk SD but this isnt working.

This typically happens even in older version of digital cameras (not the DSLRs kind).  Please check your TV manual for the max capacity and also the Class which it can read.  This one is Class 10 type ideally targeted for the DSLR usage which needs quick response.  One other way you could use is by trying to use a card reader and then plug the card reader into your TV using the USB slot.  It might work that way.

Read your device's user manual. If the memory card slot supports SDXC format and 64 MB size, it will work.

Does it support Nikon D3200 camera?

Yes.  Put the card in and my canon D3200 formatted FAT32.
I tested by taking some photos without a problem.

I saw a review that this card did not work with a Canon Vixia camera. I have a Vixia HF M301. Is this SD card compatible? I have used other 64GB cards the worked just fine.

From reading the other comments above I had concluded this Mike.
My Vixia had an issue reading a PNY 64gb card and I couldn't figure out why - pop it in my MBPro or my Canon T4i and it was fine...
I now expect that it is because my vixia is prob from 2010 and therefore won't read above 32gb cards.

Is this considered a micro sdhxc card?

This is not a micro SD card.  It is an SD card.  A micro card would go into a cell phone or a Go Pro 3 camera.  This is the card that goes into a hand held cameras or most tablets.
