Pros: - Decently Fast transfer speeds
- Can be used in Computer and Smartphone / Tablet
- Small
Cons: - Easy to lose
- Cap is impossible to get off
Overall Review: I find the concept of this USB stick quite interesting; you can plug it into your computer and your smartphone / tablet without any converters. I have found it works pretty well for transferring photos quickly from phone to computer. Transfer speeds are decently fast, but nothing to be amazed with. The size of this stick is nice and small, so it fits just about anywhere. But, that small size makes it extremely easy to misplace. I with there was some sort of loop to attach a key-ring or something to other than the bit that holds the micro-usb cap as that feels like it would snap if you look at it wrong. The micro-usb cap is also very difficult to remove.
Overall, this isn't a bad little USB stick. If you constantly find yourself in the never-ending struggle of transferring files from your phone to your computer, you may want to consider one of these to make your life easier.
Pros: + Works as advertised.
+ Small Size. (smaller than it appears in the NE pics)
+ Decent performance.
+ Takes advantage of USB3.0. (for read)

Cons: - Average write speed for a USB 3.0 device intended for backup purposes.
- Sharp edges. ( buffed mine out)
- No micro extension cable and/or 90 degree micro connector option
- Not waterproof. A thing since the standard USB connection is not capped.
- No status LED.
Overall Review: Watch those sharp edges. They will easily scratch your case!!
My cons listed above are to be taken with a grain of slat since the price/performance value of the drive is, in my opinion, still an outstanding device. But this may change as more devices of a similar nature are produced by others.
Pros: Fast data transfer speeds, excellent to swap data between my tablets and PCs
Cons: Small, and I keep forgetting where I placed them
Overall Review: I used these to create bootable media for imaging systems. On my USB 2.0 drives it would take close to 40 minutes to copy the data, but with these, I am getting the data transfer completed in about 10 minutes.
Pros: The drives are USB 3.0, but the speed is just a bit faster than 2.0. Not a big deal, wasn't looking for the fastest drive, the dual purpose drive was the reason I purchased the product.
Cons: The reason I am giving this a 2 star review is because Patriot seems to feel they can offer rebates and not honor them. I have sent in 3 different rebates and all three were denied. They claim that on my receipts there is no purchase date. This is very disappointing to me since the rebate offer was what encouraged me to really buy the product.
Overall Review: I would not recommend products from Patriot that include a rebate. They will simply find a way to not honor there own promotion.
Pros: Great device added to my LG G2. Recognized immediately and manageable running stock Android 4.2.2. Great for storing sensitive files instead of having them on a compromise-able device. Scored it on sale.
Cons: None that I've discovered yet...
Overall Review: ALL of my nroP in my pocket. Well some of it :-)
Pros: I am delighted with this product so far! Very reliable and compact for the price. The Micro USB is very sturdy, though it does stick out awkwardly from my phone/tablet when I watch movies. I fear it will break if dropped while plugged in. Only time will tell.
Cons: Awkward when sticking out of a phone or tablet for extended viewing.
Overall Review: I would buy again if I lost this one.
Didnt work with my cellphone case2/9/2016 10:26:55 PM
Pros: micro usb and standard usb connectors
Cons: base of micro usb connector is too big and wouldnt fit through my cellphone case
Overall Review: I wish they would have anticipated people wanting to use this in cellphones with cases and made the base of the micro usb connector smaller. I dont think there is any reason for the base to be as big as it is.
Pros: Very small and compact. USB 3.0 transfer rates on par for something this small (mucho faster than USB 2!). The double-edge approach is the perfect solution for our Tablet/Android phone-wielding family.
The ease of transferring movies and tv mkvs from the laptop to this stick, and then plug it into your rooted Android with StickMount loaded on it, is perfect when loading up MX Player (with the custom codec from the settings - it's hidden look for it) to watch then.
Cons: If I had to put a negative, it would be the rubber micro-usb cover. Kind of annoying when plugged into a phone, or into a tablet when trying to lay flat. But I do understand the design as they had to cover it somehow and not loose it.
You try to forget its there, but the bright color just screams "look at me, look at me" while trying to stay involved in that final episode of Breaking Bad.
Also, I wish they made them larger. Like 128 GB as the specs allow. That would be awesome.
Absolutely no reason to deduct any eggs though. I am going to buy two more now.
Overall Review: I've been searching for well over a year for something like this. A dual-purpose Micro-USB and regular USB device, hopefully USB 3.0, etc. This tiny device answered every part we needed. I was finally able to load it up with the wive's preferred movies and TV shows in MKV and she watched it for days on our long road trips.
Now it is used almost exclusively at the gym and during the 3 hour commute into the office.
I had to come back and write a review because this has made our Android tablets and phones (yes, all 5 devices) extremely useful by expanding its storage, and easy file transfers.
Ordering two more as of writing this review.
