I am wanting to replace my current OCZ power supply. this one should be compatible with all my components even though they are older? the old power supply died

It depends on your components and how old is "older." You shouldn't have any problems with it unless your system is more than 4 or 5 years old. The thing to watch for is a: your video card and if it is PCI-E, and if the processor matches the i3, i5, i7 Sandy Bridge, 4th Generation Haswell, and AMD Phenom. Regardless, you will want to go with a modular power supply whichever one you choose because it is neat and tidy without all the extra cables taking up room and rubbing against stuff. The hard drive power cables will fit whatever you got in your case, I'm sure. Another thing to check is the motherboard requirements. This is for motherboards with ATX 12 and EPS 12v power slots.

would this work with i5 3570k ivy bridge?

It depends on your motherboard, but this should work with an i5 3570k ivy bridge. If you've got an older motherboard, this might not match up, but being that said processor is a newer model, I highly doubt there will be any problem. It will supply enough power to the processor, but if you're also powering a lot of other hardware (like if you've got two video cards), you might want to consider more wattage. I can say that I've had no problems with this power supply as of yet. When it comes to power supplies, you can pretty much assume that it will work with your processor and you should focus more on whether or not it will work with your video card/motherboard, since your processor will be plugged in to the motherboard and not directly to the power supply.

Question 3

There are red leds on this power supply yes?Are they bright?

Yes thee is LEDs but they are not enough to light your case and maybe you will have to put them facing the bottom depending on your case layout.
But they look nice in my box

Question 4

Is this the new model still using older pictures or the old model? I seen on the OCZ website that their current model is a fully modular setup where this one shows the main 24pin power cable built into the case.

i just got one from tiger a few weeks ago and it is the older model.
however i can see only cable management as + to having the one cable you must use anyways if your like me who cares! i just slap these systems together when i feel the itch :)  enjoy

this power supply fit  the z87-g45 motherboard ?

This PSU will work with that board no problem. The only really limiting factor you may run in to is the Video card(s) you want to run...make sure what amp rating each V-Card needs from the manufacturer's website and match the 12V rail(s) accordingly.

Will it fit with my fx-8320?

The fx-8320 is a Processor.  If it is mounted to an ATX style motherboard you are "in-like-Flynn".  All you really need is to have an ATX mobo.  You can look on the side of your current Power Supply (where the tag/sticker is) and just confirm that your present PS is an "ATX".  If it is, just swap 'em out.
