Question 1

So there is no way to put an optical drive in these? A good ole cheap drive to install an OS even? I thought all computers would need a 5.25" drive bay for one of these?

Just download the OS you want to use from Microsofts website onto a usb flash drive with at least 4GB of space. You will be prompted for your key before installation just use the key you received with your copy of windows and vwalla. Now days there is no need for an optical drive and this case is the best I've seen yet as far as versatility, looks and build quality for now and future builds plus you can't beat the price. BTW if your building the system yourself for somwone just buy a system builders key for Windows 10 online for $20.

Possibly dumb question... How do I change the front LED strip color?

If you look at the top of the case, along the front edge of the top, you will see a symbol that looks like a sun. The button is under that.

Is it quiet?

Yeah, it is really all going to depend on how you build it, with most cases!  If you don't care about the window, getting the model without will make a huge difference. If you want it to be quieter yet, get the S model, which has covers that go over the top opening on this, if you aren't using them for fans, and is where most of the noise is going to come from, and as stated above, has sound deadening foam.  I would run a power supply that has an eco mode, where the fan turns off when not needed.  If you get a liquid cooler, put it up front.  Run better fans.  a solid state hard drive for your OS, and it should be pert near silent.  The case itself is well built, decent gauge steel. My thumb screws for removing the covers are a little gummy, but doesn't seem to really effect anything.

Does this case comes with LED strip?

this  case does not come with LED strips it only has one LED light strip in thats in the front of the case

If i buy the phanteks light strip for inside the case, is there already a plug to attach it to the button and front leds?

Yes, the Eclipse has a small cable that comes of the power button and LED control to connect Phanteks lighting strips and you can also get a ASUS Aura adapter cable if you have a ASUS board and control the LED from there as well.

what are the colors that the strip glows?

The colors (10) include.. Red, Lime green, Medium blue, Magenta, Gold color, Violet, White, Medium spring green, Deep sky blue, and Orchid.  The outline of the POWER button and the bottom of the front case glow the same color. There are a total of 10 colors that can be changed by pressing a small button located on the top front of the case. By pressing this button for 3 seconds, the light can be turned off.

Why does this case cost 160$, and 40$ shipping?

It cost more like $70 when I purchased it. Presumably, stocks are low right now. It's a decent enough case, but it's not worth $200. I would look either elsewhere or for another case.

Is it possible to add a fan control to this case if? My motherboard only supports 3 fans and i would like to still be able to control them.

With no 5 1/4 hats, I don't believe you can. If you use a splitter running off a PWM 4 pin fan header on your motherboard you could use your bios if it supports fan control or use speedfan. It's a program that allows you to set up your fans.
