I plan on purchasing an additional fan to add to this cooler. Does the cooler come with an additional mounting clip?

Yes it does come with included mounting hardware for an additional fan. Recommend that you use an identical fan for fitment.

This will fit all socket 1155s ?

I imagine OEM boards from the likes of Dell, HP, or Lenovo may give you trouble.

will this work with a 2011-(3) CPU? I would be using it with a n intel 5960x in an asrock x99x microATX board in an older voodoo pc rage case

It should work on that cpu yes. I have one on my 2011-v3 cpu with no issue though with a micro atx make sure that your ram or something else isn't very close to the cpu. I did buy this though to fit between some massive ram sticks onto my cpu.
