I have a question,?  Can you hear your own voice with this, What I mean is,, I would like to find something to use for going to school online, and I thought if I had a way to hear myself read it would help me learn more easier..JW

What you get is pretty standard in most good headphones, which is a "voice monitor." It's similar to just hearing yourself while talking as you normally do, but played through the headphones, mostly so you don't start speaking too loudly (as the headphones block out a fair amount of outside noise). You can adjust the settings on your computer to hear yourself a little more than not, but it's not like a recording or playback feature. I hope this helps!

The pink parts that connect the band to the top are metal; however the white band itself is made of a very durable yet flexible material that is very soft on the outside and likely plastic on the inside.

It absolutely should. The cord goes to a single 3.5mm audio jack, and with the usb adapter/controller it plugs directly into any usb2.0/3.0/3.1 port. It doesn't require any external software or drivers to use, so it should update and be usable within moments of plugging it in the first time. The microphone is detachable too, so you can simply listen to music using a slightly shorter cord if you so choose. Also be assured, they're very comfortable and come with both felt and vinyl ear-cuff pads. I hope this helps!
