Is there an input for a microphone?  I was wanting to purchase a mic that can be mounted on my steering column for hands-free phone calls.

This unit comes with a microphone. If you don't like the provided mic, you can buy a different mic. There is a female input in the back of this stereo to hook up the microphone. I think it is 3.5 mm jack. Hope it helps.

Only one, but with the bluetooth capability from your phone to the deck who will be using cd's when you can stream from your phone music or Pandora

Do you have to buy a microphone or is that built it?

The unit comes with a separate small microphone on an approx. 13-ft. cord, which plugs into the rear of the unit. The microphone is a very nice, decent quality one which can be clipped to your sun visor and the wire run in a variety of ways. However, on my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder, the front portion of the steering column is flat so it worked out very well to just run the cord up the side of the column and tape the microphone onto the flat area right in front of me behind the steering wheel. I taped the cord at several places, coiled up the extra cord and fastened it with a twist tie to a cable under the dash. I really like this Pioneer FH-X720BT. It has many excellent features and appears to be well made. The phone calling features using Bluetooth work very well!

I installed it on my Subaru. As long as you can find a double din kit for your Honda you should be good.

I found you an double dim adapter for your car that you could use for this stereo

Does the receiver require an adapter in order to mount in a vehicle?

It depends on what you are mounting it in. I put this in 2004 F250 and had to use a mounting adapter for the non standard opening. Google automotive stereo sites and you will find sites that will let you specify your vehicle and what if any mounting adapters you need for your specific application.

will this fit in a 2000 Lincoln LS? My cousin has this unit in her Honda Accord and it sounds great! I just want to make sure it will fit right in my car. Thanks!

If you have a double din opening it will fit for sure. If you only have a single din, then I would pick from those and stay away from this unit. I looked at 2000 Lincoln LS stereo slots, and they look double din, and lots of pics show them double din after market stereos. You may need a special trim piece or custom installation for it to look right however.

is this ccompatible with only apple products?

This syncs perfectly with my Android phone via bluetooth and properly displays track/artist info and easily allows track skipping. I think it would work the same with usb cable connection (never tried it) so you can probably charge while synced.

Google how to remove the dash to access the stereo for removal.

Will this fit nicely into either 1991 Chevy 1500 PU which has radio box and separate elongated cassette area or Subura Forrester 2006. Want it to look good, no spaces or duct tape stuff?

Mine is neither one of the vehicles you mentioned. 
But the unit will fit in any double din slot. 
There is extensive customization of the illumination colors - so you may be able to match your car's interior. 
Otherwise, this unit is hard to beat for its price range. 
Bluetooth works great with my Cell phone with Call history and auto answer - and I enjoy playing iHeartRadio through it.

Is this radio XM ready?

It is not. They have a similar model that is satellite radio ready, the FH-X820BS that Newegg has available for just a bit more than the 720BT.
