Does this part number 84691-01  come with that little stand ?

Yes, if you look through the images, the 4th picture shows what is included in the box.  The headset, the base, the power cord, and that other thing (I usually use hookswitch APP-51 for polycom 335s so dont need the weird phone cable, but it comes with it anyway)

how far from base will it work ?
will it connect to a Bluetooth cordless base ?
no wires on the headset ?

Have not tested the full range, but within a 10' office there is certainly no problem.

DECT 6.0 operates in 1.9 GHz range, whereas Bluetooth is 2.4 GHz.

No wires on headset.  Two connectors on the base, one to power adaptor and RJ9 to desktop phone.

Is this a wireless headset and is it compatible with Avaya phone model #9608 of Nortel Networks T7616E?

Is the headset set itself convertible or do  they all go over the head?

This exact model is not convertible, but I believe they offer convertible models. Mine can only be used over the head.

I work at a Mexican restaurant and we have vtech phones but I been looking into getting a phone that we can answer from a headset so we don't have to be running to the phone ..but code need to connect some type of service or how do we do this headset setup ?

You just connect it to your phone set and the headset is wireless. I would make sure the phone sets you have would be compatible with the wireless headset.
