which one is Best suited / required for Tech Support, Customer Service, Sales/ Upselling? This S12 Corded Plantronics or the Cordless Model.

Evan.  I have not used the cordless model.  When I bought the corded version, I did so in order to have my hands free for demonstrating software using online meeting software.  My experience with customer support/sales activities tells me that the cordless models are better because of the ability to move around while talking.  If I were going to be wearing a headset 6-8 hours a day, I'd choose cordless.

Yes - the mute button is the bottom, right button. The right side light will light up when it is muted.

Is it comparable with all phones, need this for work ?

It should be.  You unplug the handset cord from the phone base and plug the headset in.  The handset cord then plugs into the headset system so you can use either the headset or still use the handset.

If you are an executive who needs to multitask and be talking while moving around the office, get the cordless. If you are buying this for employees, do you want them talking on the phone while walking around, or do you want them sitting in front of their computer while they talk? Assuming the latter, in that situation I"d buy a corded.

I am using SIEMENS euroset 2005 landline phone with hand set. Since my work involves more phonic conversations, conferences, I am thinking to replace handset with headset (with mike).
Is your product is compatible with handset mentioned above? I tried using other company's product but the problem exits with the noise. Can any user let me know the quality of the voice heard after replacement?

I found the device to be very acceptable, no noise, adjustable volume, and very attractive.  Mine is attached to an older desk touch  phone and never had any problems with it.
