Can a fan be added on the back of the unit?

The unit is the size of a standard PC mini tower. On the bottom back is a standard PC power supply with its own fan. There is an additional fan on the back top of the case. In the center of the back are a number of square knockout panels (purpose unknown). While there is no precut place for a third fan on the back, you might be able to cut out these knockouts. Note that i use the unit extensively (several hundred disk runs) and have had no issue with overheating

will this duplicator record copyright protected cd s ?

Accepted Answer

No. Most copyrighted materials cannot be copied. The unit gives an error signal and ejects the original.  This includes CDs and DVDs for software as well as DVDs with commercial movies.

This duplicator is primarily intended to copy your own created materials (audio, video, data in CD or DVD format)

Can I burn various cd's or dvd's at one time from my PC?

The PlexCopier 24X SATA 1 to 5 CD / DVD duplicator is a fully stand-alone system and does not require a PC to operate.
