The Make & Model of the motherboard doesn't make any difference.  You need at the least a PCIe 2.0 x 2 slot.  I have an ASUS mobo similar to yours . . . Sata 3 Gb, PCIe 2.0 x 16 slots, regular BIOS (not UEFI).  Everything installed properly, but eventually after booting up, within minutes the system would lock-up.  At this point, I can only attribute the problem as not having the UEFI BIOS . . . the drive was setup with MBR instead of GPT.  I have since installed this drive in two different mobo's with the UEFI BIOS, Sata 6Gb using the GPT partition style and have had no problems whatsoever.  Just a word of caution.  There is always the possibility it may work fine on you setup.
