Pros: It's even smaller and lighter than I thought. It's definitely convenient, especially since it can run fully on USB.

Cons: It's so small and light it almost feels fragile; I don't like how much the plugs wiggle around on the back of the unit.

Overall Review: I bought this for an X60s running Debian Linux and have had no problems. It's a fantastic little drive, I just wish the plugs were more solid; sometimes you have to make sacrifices for portability, though.

Pros: small, lightweight, pretty fast, runs on pure usb power, BOOTABLE on a fujitsu P1510D

Cons: Feels kind of fragile.

Overall Review: I bought this drive as my P1510D does not have an internal optical drive. This drive works just like a normal laptop would with an internal drive. It works with my 1510D as I would expect, no unpleasant surprises. I can even boot off of it in case I need to reload my OS. No need to carry around an extra power supply for this drive.

Pros: Small, quiet, fast. I'm running cdroast under Xandros/Debian on an EeePC & this drive burns CD's, DVD's, & plays movies on just USB power (even with just the battery). Power is in a small/tiny brick and not a blister which is nice except I don't even need it! Meets all my needs/expectations.

Cons: Doesn't come with Linux burning software, else I'd give it a 5. Mechanism where the disc snaps on to the hub is kind of tight. At first I felt timid pushing down very hard on this delicate device. It seems to take the pressure just fine so I got over it.

Overall Review: So far so good. I haven't noticed the sloppiness in the sockets that other people mentioned, but I've plugged it in less than 10 times total. I'll see how it holds up after I've bounced it around in my backpack for a few more weeks.

Pros: USB Bus powered - excellent for carrying on trips with a laptop (which is what I suse it for).

Cons: None so far.

Pros: It's light and the package includes a power adapter and two USB cords should the available USB power be low.

Cons: It doesn't seem to work out of the box with Vista Business on a Lenovo laptop X60 series laptop. At least not yet. I will write back once I figure it out.

Overall Review: Nothin yet - it's like they say in t box.

Pros: It worked out of the box on my Lenovo X60 Tablet using Vista. Best features are: small, light and USB powered (which worked fine on the X60T, even writing DVD-R). I haven't had it long but have created a backup on DVD-R and watched a DVD movie.

Cons: none yet.

Overall Review: I haven't tried DL yet and I haven't timed it's write speeds yet.
