- DisplayLink DL-6950 chipset supports two displays at up to 4K resolution (3840x2160) at a 60Hz refresh rate, including popular lower modes such as 3440x1440@60Hz, 2560x1440@60Hz & 1920x1080@60Hz (1080P). Supports pass through of video and audio over USB-C and an HDMI cable.
- Supports modern Windows USB-C systems running Windows 10, 8.1 & 7. Not supported: macOS and Linux/Unix are not supported at this time.

The first adapters available with the the DisplayLink DL-6950 chipset our USB-C Dual 4K HDMI adapters support two external HDMI monitors up to 4K@60Hz each and offers a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting to your network via Ethernet cable. Our adapter is compatible with systems with a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 / Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3 port and leverages the data throughput of these technologies. The Dual 4K HDMI adapter offers two HDMI 2.0 ports and is backwards compatible with previous HDMI specifications (e. g. HDMI 1.4 ) at lower resolutions.
4K@60Hz Notes: To achieve 4K@60Hz each connected monitor and HDMI cable must support HDMI 2.0 specifications and the desired resolution and refresh rate. If connected to a monitor with HDMI 1.4 ports or used with an HDMI 1.4 cable the resolution will be limited to 4K@30Hz. CompatibilityOur adapter is compatible with most modern laptops and desktops running Windows 10 8.1 and 7 and requires the DisplayLink graphics software to be installed. Popular Windows systems with a USB Type-C/Thunderbolt 3 port include the Dell XPS 13 (9350 9360) and XPS 15 (9550 9560) Lenovo Yoga 720-13IKB Lenovo Yoga 900-13ISK HP Spectre x360 13" (13-ac013dx) and more.
