Question 1

is this SDXC card usable in a vista64 computer's SD card reader?  If yes, will the full 64GB be available to use?

Not sure, I'm using it in a canon 70d camera. When I connect it to the computer I just connect the camera to computer with the USB cable. I'm using Windows 7 64bit and it reads the card just fine. I'm also taking pictures using Raw and jpeg formats and can still take over 1000 photos on one card.

is this a micro size?

The device itself is not micro by any means but perhaps 2x the size of a normal flash drive, hasn't been an issue for me but some reviews suggested its width interfered with and adjacent usb port. The size however is really pretty small, and for it's size does some amazing things.

The sd card that is in it however is a micro so if you want to use the card in a standard sd card device the adapters you get with micro sd cards will work perfectly.
