diff. between 2.0 & 3.0???

USB 3.0 is faster than USB 2.0. With flash drives, the only advantage to USB 3.0 is that the read speed on USB 3.0 drives is a bit faster than on USB 2.0 drives. All other things being equal, the write speeds are the same on both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 drives in almost all circumstances. Other than that, there is no difference other than cost. If you are planning to run an OS, run portable apps, or read enormous files from the flash drive, get USB 3.0. Otherwise just get what meets your needs and don't care about whether it is USB 3.0 or USB 2.0.
