    LOADING...

The PQI iConnect Mini is a 32GB rose-gold mobile flash drive with an Apple MFi-certified Lightning connector and USB 3.0, suited to users who want to back up or move files between compatible Lightning-equipped Apple devices and computers.

    Recommended For

    • iPhone or iPad owners with a Lightning port who need to move photos and videos off a crowded device: the PQI app supports one-tap camera-roll backups to the drive.
    • Travelers who take photos or videos on a Lightning iPhone and want a compact way to copy them to a drive, then transfer them to a Mac or PC later.
    • People who want to back up photos and videos without selecting files one by one; a hands-on review describes one-tap copying and incremental backups after the first transfer.
    • Users who regularly shuttle files between a Lightning iPhone or iPad and a computer, and are comfortable using PQI’s companion app on the Apple device.

    Real-World Use Scenarios

    • When an iPhone is running low on space, copy photos and videos from the camera roll to the drive for an extra local copy. The files are copied, not automatically removed from the iPhone, so delete originals separately if you want to reclaim phone storage.
    • Before a trip or after taking many photos and videos, use the app’s one-touch backup to copy camera-roll media to the drive. The review describes later backups as copying new items, so it can suit repeat backups as a collection grows.
    • To move backed-up photos, videos, or other files to a computer, connect the drive using its USB end. This provides a direct handoff without first sending the files through a cloud service.
    • When you want photos or videos kept off the phone’s internal storage from the start, take them with the iConnect app’s camera feature. The app saves those captures directly to the drive.
    • To carry files between a Lightning-equipped iPhone or iPad and a Mac or PC, copy them to the drive on one device and connect it to the other. The iConnect app can browse and transfer files on the Apple mobile device; the USB connection provides the computer-side transfer.
