Best for the Buck

AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 - Athlon 64 X2 Kuma Dual-Core 2.7 GHz Socket AM2+ 95W black edition Processor - AD775ZWCGHBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 - Athlon 64 X2 Kuma Dual-Core 2.7 GHz Socket AM2+ 95W black edition Processor - AD775ZWCGHBOX

Pros: Fast, overclocks easy and stable at 3.5ghz with my zalman 110mm fan, pairs with 1066ddr2 and the 2600 Hypertransport makes this the best processor for those who wish to play games where developers dont support quadcore CPU. Use this cpu to play todays games on high settings.

Cons: no cons

Overall Review: This is the perfect processor to buy for an am2+/am3 compatible mobo if you are on a budget. You can get this dual core now, then in 6 months when you decide to upgrade, grab a AM3 quadcore processor. If you play MMOs like WOW that only support dual core CPU anyway, this would be better than a quadcore CPU thats 150 dollars more.

Mixed Feelings

HT OMEGA STRIKER 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card
HT OMEGA STRIKER 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card

Pros: Discrete card, 7.1 surround, works well with 8 speaker headphones. no snap crackle and pops when game graphics are in high demand.

Cons: 16 bit 96k rate is the max i can get this card in the settings. This may be the reason my m2n32 MOBO's 24bit high def audio onboard sounds the same when playng music. (not games)

Overall Review: There are alot of good reviews on this card and yes, the first time i had a grenade go off behind me in crysis i spit my drink up.Why am i not getting the advertised sample rate, yes i have windows 7, the 7 drivers only allow for 16 bit 48k, and the vista drivers give me 16 bit 96k, I really want to hear this card in 24 bit sound. Based on this 5 eggs is out for me. I will return this card in hopes i can get the 24bit sound from another card regardless of who makes it.

A real overclocker

Intel Core i5-4690K - Core i5 4th Gen Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 88W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I54690K
Intel Core i5-4690K - Core i5 4th Gen Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 88W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I54690K

Pros: Overclocks real nice, night and day at running games over my AMD. $100 less than the devils canyon i7

Cons: Stock fan

Overall Review: Great for gamers who overclock, spent $239 on this, carried over my zalman (30 bux) from my AMD build. Paired with a gigabyte MOBO. Used Artic silver paste (5 bux). I overclocked it to 4.5ghz and ran it hard for hours. Temps stayed in the 40s. Ran it to 5ghz, just needed a box fan to run some air into the PC closet while doing this Temps hit mid 50s sometimes before box fan. If this Tower wasn't stuffed in a tiny closet and in an air conditioned room, 5ghz without anymore assistance is easy to achieve.

Great Deal, Its a beast

ASUS Laptop G73 Gaming Series Intel Core i7-740QM 6GB Memory 640GB HDD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 17.3" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit G73JH-BST7
ASUS Laptop G73 Gaming Series Intel Core i7-740QM 6GB Memory 640GB HDD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 17.3" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit G73JH-BST7

Pros: Overall Specs, Keyboard lights, Screen looks nice, price, external appearance, gaming performance. Runs any game out there and looks good doing it. Price is great. I got the 2 year warranty as well.

Cons: Its Huge, Heavy, (buy a 19inch laptop bag not a 17 or 17.3) 5400rpm HD, video card needs VBIOS update to fix the grey screens that happen while gaming. This will fix overheating issues as well. My gpu now runs 70c-75c in turbo, cpu runs 55c in turbo after hours of slamming it. Update the system bios. Bloatware, needs clean install of OS.

Overall Review: If you know a few things about fixing the listed cons above as it did, then you got an awsome deal and you will love it. If you dont have any tech skills or just want to open the package and start gaming, look elsewhere. The fixes are not hard, there are videos on how to do it with software made easy. Roll up your sleeves and save some money or pay the premium for another system of = specs. Dont compare it to a desktop that costs the same to build yourself.

great Card

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5970 (Hemlock) 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100280SR
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5970 (Hemlock) 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100280SR

Pros: Performance, Temps, runs on 750 corsair single rail PSU, blue ray looks real nice, worthy upgrade from 8800gtx if you upgraded your 8800gtx from a radeon 9600 "that kind of performance jump"

Cons: Price, size, Price noise if fans maxxed, price, ati drivers are a pain somtimes, and price.

Overall Review: looks good in DALARAN!!!! come get me poor broke trolls.

Good Card, Terrible shipping

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100248L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100248L

Pros: The Card itself is great value, great for entry level gamers who want to enjoy smooth game play at medium to high settings. A must in your PC if you are broke. I will buy this card again but from another company other than sapphire (see below)

Cons: Tennesee branch of UPS.

Overall Review: The fact that i can get a case delivered from Cali 2 days faster than tennesee will make me research the companies location before buying. Items shipping from tennesee are late on the 3 day shipping. UPS is always on key anywhere else in the country. People who want PCs built are impatient, newegg's major 2 selling points are Customer Service, and shipping. Newegg do us all a favor and crack that whip on the tennesee branch of UPS. I wont take an egg away for this, but shame on you Tennesee UPS.
