Pros: Time for a new machine for my wife. MSI Z170A XPOWER Titanium EDITION. Easy to build & works great. Used a M.2 500 GB for C drive & it is fast. Water cooled to keep the Intel 6700K nice & cool. Used the on board button to over clock to 4.2 GHz. No problems with this small of a bump. If I go much higher than 4.2 I take a hit on the ram so it becomes a trade off.
Cons: Would have liked to have one more USB 3.0 mounted on the board for some internal hook ups but I mounted a card on the PCI
slot & all is well.
Other Thoughts: I love the support that I receive from MSI. They are always willing to help you out with any problems should you have any. And answer any questions that arise. Thanks MSI!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Everything, the best i7, competes with Xion.
Cons: None, really!
Other Thoughts: I read another reviewer who knocked off 2 eggs because it didn't come with a stock(cheap) air cooler. Really? It says it doesn't come with a cooler, & who uses a cheap air cooler on a CPU like this? There are some great Air Coolers but they are 3rd party & all sorts of liquid cooling too. Did I mention that it says it does not include a stock air cooler. You spend over a grand on a CPU & you don't read what it is all about?READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Delivers nice clean power. Quiet. Nice cables though I would have like them in blue, it was clearly shown that about half the cables are red & i decided that it would be OK as my case has no windows. And when I build my next machine I will give it a red theme so this will keep until that time.
10 year warrantee!
Cons: Cooks eggs(new) but won't make an omlet.
Other Thoughts: I noticed one of thew review mentioned that Corsair would let you exchange the black wires for for the color that you want, but this is not the case. You can buy the colored cables but it is an additional cost, which is around a hundred bucks. It would be nice if you could get these PSU with a color of cables choice. Perhaps someday soon.READ FULL REVIEW
