Great card!
Pros: Fast and quiet! Only needs one 6-pin connection from a power supply, unlike the GTX 460 which I upgraded from.
Cons: None so far!
Overall Review: The $20 rebate is a big hassle. It requires you to fill out a form online, then print out a form and mail it in to the manufacturer (in Texas) along with the serial numbers cut out from the box.
Great Sound
Pros: Easy to setup. Sounds greats and has some serious output levels. A bunch of various sound modes let you customize the sound to what you're watching, though I just use Standard. You can also adjust the treble/bass/subwoofer independently The subwoofer being wireless is very handy.
Cons: Expensive. Even on it's lowest setting, the subwoofer is still pretty loud. When connected with a Samsung TV via the HDMI ARC port, it is supposed to turn on and off automatically with the TV, but it only turns off for me. Not a huge deal though to hit the on button on the soundbar remote.
Great!
Pros: Very fast read and write speeds.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I've only been running two of these for about a week now, but as long as they don't break on me, they are great!
Good bang for your buck!
Pros: - cheap - upgradeable to a second fan - works well, my temperature range is now 30-40, even under load - quite quiet
Cons: - instructions are a little unclear, but I was able to figure them out and install it correctly - it's very big (although with a 120mm fan, that should be somewhat obvious), just barely fit inside my case.
Overall Review: I used this to replace the stock heatsink for an AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE (which sounded like a jet engine), so the noise reduction for me is significant. It works great, so as long as your case has room to fit it, I highly recommend it!
Pros: - super fast - super quiet - super awesome!
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I upgraded to this from a 8800GT and the difference is amazing! It is also much quieter than my previous card. If you're looking to upgrade, this is the card to get! Two of these in SLI even out perform a 480, and it'll be cheaper too.
