Temperatures dropped by ~20c!
Pros: - Quieter cooling solution then most stock GPU air coolers - Cools better then stock, max temps dropped 20c to 56c on R9 390X - Nice aesthetics.
Cons: - Does not include mosfet heatsinks for the memory! - Does not include VRM cooler, need to buy Gelid kit - Fans do not run at rated speeds, 1600 rpm instead of 2000 max
Overall Review: This has been edited FYI, after I changed the motherboard fan settings properly (ASUS has confusing manual fan settings on Z77) to 100% properly, it brought the fan speeds up to 1600rpm (it was at like ~1050). This brought the cooling effectiveness up greatly, my card operates about 20 degrees cooler! My bad there. Just an FYI, the instruction manual provides a parts list which does not reflect what is included in the packaging. There are no RAM heatsinks included so you need to order those separately. For my card (R9 390X), I also needed to order a Gelid solutions VRM heatsink. Do your research before buying on what your card needs for RAM cooling. Also, as stated, the included fans run at 1600rpm max, not 2000rpm as stated in the specs. Not sure how big of a difference that actually makes, but it is pretty quiet running at 1600rpm.
Not as great as I had hoped
Pros: - Very durable chopper blades - Cool look - Can charge through controller
Cons: - Controller uses AA batteries (6!), not a rechargeable item. - Manual states 50 mins to recharge, only 6 mins of flight duration. That stat wasn't on here when I looked through specs. Others in price range take 25~ mins or so to recharge and last 8 minutes. - Power switch almost very easily broke off, very tiny and flimsy - Charging doesn't always work, have to unplug and replugin repeatedly to get it to work - Randomly loses equal power to front or back of chopper, causing it to intensely fly forward or backwards (probably into your house plant).
Overall Review: First RC helicopter cheapo I've bought, so I may have had high expectations? This thing is more of an inconvenience then it is fun.
Super Quiet, Compact, Strong 12V Power Delivery
Pros: I bought this because I needed a small power supply to fit into a mini ITX case which required one at 150mm or smaller length. I also bought it because I wanted a dependable power supply with a strong 12V rail for powering my 1080 Ti with AIO. With a power limit of 120% and an AIO / Fan that pull roughly 120W on their own, I needed something better then a cheapo power supply with two tweak 12V rails. So far, I've only used it continuously for a few hours, but it has been stable and steady at a boost clock of 2050MHz at only 46C. I don't hear the power supply itself hardly at all.
Cons: Could use an "always on" type feature without needing an adapter or paperclip, for people using for eGPU or perhaps mining. That way I don't need to plug in the giant motherboard power cord.
Overall Review: I'm confident it will be a good product, as Seasonic is a well known brand for PSU. This thing, despite being compact in dimensions, has some weight to it, another good indicator that it is built right compared to my last solution. I'm posting this review based on my legitimate thoughts on the product, but should add I needed to make a review to redeem their Steam giftcard promotion.
Advertised for Full Sized GPU but highly limited
Pros: - Nice design to have fan / radiator mount be removable and pivot in. - Clean looking design
Cons: This is touted as being able to fit 350mm GPU. Despite having the length to support this, it does not provide enough room for the power connectors on graphics cards to close properly. You cannot close the case. Also another huge problem, it says it fits a full ATX power supply. Most full ATX power supplies have a depth of just short of 7 inches. You either have to use a short GPU with a power supply like this, or go buy a 5.5 inch depth power supply.
Overall Review: Don't advertise this will fit full sized components when it does not. It is misinformation to list one dimension specification as a feature when it's irrelevant if you can't fit a full sized GPU. It should be CLEARLY marked on the product information page what size power supply is necessary, and they should have designed the case to fit a graphics card that is full height with room for power connectors. Another 3/4 of an inch would have did the job.
Silent, Indeed!
Pros: - Silent - Good airflow - Rubber fan mounts included so no vibration - Cable has molex or 3 pin connector option built right in. - Colors common to a lot of gaming series boards these days
Cons: - No grill cover?
Overall Review: Honestly best case fans I've bought. Weren't too expensive, but just a couple dollars more then cheapo ones. Included screws AND rubber mounting plugs. Also for once I didn't have to shuffle around cables because I had the option to use 3 pin OR molex, very convenient. "No grill cover" isn't really a con as pretty much no fans come with that anymore, but figured I'd throw that in there since there's really nothing else to critique.
Full featured, reliable so far
Pros: - Dual band to provide your own options for networking - Guest wifi - Easy interface
Cons: - Not solar powered? JK
Overall Review: I wish I could come up with a con to balance this review out a bit. However, for what you should expect from this price range, it does everything fine and I haven't had to reset it once since I connected it over a month ago. Running strong. This is my personal experience thus far.
