Pros: Cheap, fairly easy to setup. Picture quality isn't great, but very good for the price range. Software leaves a lot to be desired if your used to higher end cameras, but is good for the price range as well. So far has stood up through some pretty heavy rains.

Cons: No Power Over Ethernet (Not a problem if your goal is wireless), Power Cable connection requires large hole, which must be filed in around wire after installation in outdoor environment.

Overall Review: Wanted a cheap way to keep an eye on my Puppy in her outdoor kennel while at work this does the trick. I chose to use the option of having it write an image periodically to my web server rather than stream video, to conserve bandwidth. It has worked out well enough that I am considering buying a few more as security cameras on the entrances of my house, waiting until winter to see if it lasts. I used this on wireless for around 1 month, had no problems, but switched to Ethernet simple because I had to run another cable to the area to install an outdoor AP to increase wireless coverage, so I went ahead and ran a second one to switch this to Ethernet as well. I did notice after the switch when pulling up the camera interface on the local LAN to view video, it does seem a little clearer and has none of the occasional jerkiness that I saw some on the wireless. This could have been caused by the signal strength, and may have been solved by the new AP as well if I had left it on wirele

Cons: Ordered two of these, one failed in the first 4 hours, the other appeared to be working, however later in the day after I shipped the other one back on RMA the second drive is now failing its S.M.A.R.T. tests with a read failure and attempts to zero out the sectors fail 150G into the 400G drive. Do not waste your money on these.

Overall Review: I am not sure what tests they are running through to consider them re-certified, but they apparently aren't very good, or they are not getting stored or shipped properly. Though they were packaged well and there was no visible damage to the packaging when they arrived at my end from NewEgg.
