No brainer
Pros: Cheap, light and it works.
Cons: None
Overall Review: It's a keyboard, a mouse and speakers. Not rocket science.
Great switch - when it works
Pros: Small & compact. Select button on front of device. Switches quickly between connected PCs.
Cons: This happens about twice a day - for some reason it will be working just fine and then it will just stop working in mid use. I have literally been moving the mouse and it just stopped. Just imagine how frustrating that is - and of course it always happens at the worst times. I then switch over to the other computer and it is working on that one! Unplug all of the connections, plug them back in and after a moment or two it typically works again. Cost is a little high.
Overall Review: If it were not for the random lock-ups of the device it would definitely be 5 stars. I may have just gotten a bad one but unfortunately even half working, I need it right now so can't send it back. :-(
Lasted 2 days
Pros: Nice blue light, plenty of connectors, good price
Cons: Died after 2 days - had to RMA today. :-(
Overall Review: Semi-modular
Not ready for release
Pros: If / when you can get it work on your network and workstations it should be able to stop a bullet in it's tracks.
Cons: I cannot understate how disappointed I am with Symantec over this product. I have used all previous versions and this complete re-write of Antivirus Corporate Edition is far too large, far too slow and faces hardware incompatibilities. Server side can reach 4GB, PC side averages 456 - 835MB. Software is incompatible with some network cards (some Realtek and some Intel) causing users strange problems such as not being able to receive (can send) e-mails or print to network printers. Tested this with 2 new machines - different MBs, fresh loads and one had the problem the other did not. Repeated the test with the 2 more new machines, same situation - same problem.
Overall Review: Symantec has the right idea but this product needs much more testing and needs to go on a diet before I even attempt another install.
Cheap - Will Break
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Flimsy materials, break easily. Recommend spending $5 more and getting something that will hold up to normal travel conditions.
Cheap, it works, but....
Pros: Cheap and it does work with some alterations.
Cons: Flimsy case, sides are difficult to line-up. Front bezel is thin plastic. Mine was cracked at the top. Also, the motherboard is not grounded properly. You must remove the motherboard and remove the 2 right-most standoffs. Otherwise the system will not boot.
